Vintage Mid Century Still Life Oil On Board White Rose

Vintage Mid Century still life oil on board of a white rose, glass and lemon. I love the simplistic, naive style of this painting and obviously those earthy colours are my favourite. 

By Claudine Bowie nee Booker (1915 -1975) who attended Leeds Art College and then Slade School of Art. She co-founded Bruton Arts Society in 1953. She was exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
