Vintage Mid Century Portrait Oil On Board. A beautiful portrait of a young girl with lovely earthy soft colours. There is some damage to this portrait but personally I don't feel it detracts from the beauty and feel of the painting!

By Claudine Bowie nee Booker (1915 -1975) who attended Leeds Art College and then Slade School of Art. She co-founded Bruton Arts Society in 1953. She was exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
