Gilbert Pélissier, born on 27. October 1924 in Paris and died on 19. April 2013, in Rivière-sur-Tarn was a French expressionist abstract painter. He operated from a studio close to that of Nicolas Schöffer, the Hungarian designer and artist. He was part of the collective of artists from the Villa des Arts in Paris, consisting of sixty workshops for painters, sculptors, photographers and architects.
