Victorian Vase by Thomas Bevington

When I first spotted this vase I thought it was mid century modern but it turns out it's Victorian. Made by a Thomas Bevington who described himself as a “Manufacturer of Novelties in Fancy China, his forms were over-ornate and sometimes impractical, decorating his product in a three dimensional manner rather than flat.

This vase is covered crystal like chips and is striking and unusual.
