Mid Century British Still Life Bryan Whitfield Double Sided

An amazing double sided still life by the artist Bryan Whitfield, trained in the 1950's at Manchester Art School & Slade. He spent his artistic career painting out of the back of his van and travelling Europe with his family. His work has been described as 'quietly intense' which I believe is the perfect description. When alive he refused to sell his art and now his family are starting to sort and sell his studio.

I am not sure which side I love the most both paintings are beautiful. His colour palette and style are an absolute joy, perfection.
