Mid Century British Still Life Bryan Whitfield

I recently bought 2 paintings by this artist and I've managed to procure 3 more. I could happily own every piece I've seen of his. The artist is Bryan Whitfield, trained in the 1950's at Manchester Art School & Slade. He spent his artistic career painting out of the back of his van and travelling Europe with his family. His work has been described as 'quietly intense' which I believe is the perfect description. When alive he refused to sell his art and now his family are starting to sort and sell his studio.

His colour palette and style are an absolute joy, perfection.
