Beautiful Vintage Hand Knotted Tekke Rug

The turquoise blue on this rug immediately drew me eye to it. It was hidden in a pile of horrible modern rugs but that little peek of blue told me to dig in!

It's a small hand knotted Tekke rug in the Bokhara pattern. Probably from 1970's, 1980's. It has the most lovey blues and brown colours and is very, very soft wool.

The reverse of this rug is just as lovely as the front! It is a lovely soft pink on the reverse.

The camera has slightly lightened the rugs colours. The picture of the corner and edge shows the truest colour match.
