Beautiful Vintage Country House Shiraz Rug

As you all know Im no expert in anything and Im certainly no expert in rugs. So when I asked my friend who deals in rug what this rug I'd bought 'is' he informed me I'd bought a 'really really nice rug' which was surprising as he normally is horrified at the rugs I buy. It's an old hand knotted Iranian Shiraz and it's in my absolute favourite colours, deep blues and rust browns. No wear to body, bit of wear to a couple of corners. A really really nice rug.
