Antique Weathered Wooden Studded Pétanque Ball

This decorative curiosity is amazingly tactile and impossible not to want to hold and touch. A simple beautiful object that makes  an amazing display piece. This ball has had  lot of nails individually hammered into it. Apparently this was done to indentify your ball.
