Antique French Folk Art Bobbin Spool Side Table

A French folk art bobbin spool 2 tier side table with opening top and working lock.

These bobbin spool furniture pieces are made from individual cotton spools and were scratch built in peoples homes so each piece is completely individual. This piece must have been much prized as it is quite a bit more decorative than most bobbin pieces and with a working ornate lock it was obviously a labour of love.
