19th Century Oil On Canvas Head Study Of Young Lady

This isn't the normal style of painting that I buy but something about her called out to me and so here she is . It's dark and moody yet somehow serene and calm. She's in shocking condition but it adds to the beauty.

She was also really hard to photograph, as the camera picked up light reflections of the oil paint off the uneven canvas.
